Insanity

My entry into Twelve Gate's Insanity challenge, i used the two nuttiest second bananas from Guild Tomes and High Society.

Leaf Evershine is a sweet, shy, well mannered and friendly young elf sage...and a complete pyro, she uses her powers to help her team the "Fire Drops" to reduce the foes of Graith to smoldering ashes. Leaf was born with a very strong spark and could manipulate energy from the age of three and could create flames when she was five, but her great gifts came at a price, one day a lose flame caught her family home on fire and Leaf and her mother got caught inside. Her mother was lost but her brothers found her buried in the still warm ashes, untouched but from that day forth she talked little if at all and was constantly fighting to keep her powers under control or she would let off fiery eruptions. For fifty years she sat in solitude in a Graithian mental health ward so her powers could be controlled by the sages who worked there. When parol hearings came around an adventurer who would come in and share his stories with the patients offered Leaf a spot on his team if she felt she could handle it. Leaf could not refuse the handsome young swordsmen or bare another day sitting in the dark brooding over her past actions.

Matilda "Cackle" Reacher was once a lovely young woman from a wealthy family in the Badlands of Antartica...but gun running makes people enemies and what better way to hurt your worst enemy than to hurt his children? Cackle was kidnapped in a raid and sold into slavery, the exact details of what she under went are unknown to all save her husband and teammate Thomas "Tombstone" Jones and now twelve years later the sweet little girl from the best part of a bad place is little more than a creeping, grinning, sniping shadow who can be heard day in and day out letting out soft whispering giggles and cackles to herself as she lines up her target in her sights as one of High Society's top recruits against the Raiders who left so many scars on her body and mind.

Leaf and Cackle are fine christian lasses, they just happen to be a little...kooky..
